FRANKENSTEIN

It’s the 200 year anniversary of Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelly when she was just eighteen, Frankenstein is the first novel to be considered science fiction. To celebrate the incredible story, Campbell is re-enacting one of its most famous scenes. Campbell lives and works in London, with a BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins.

Sculpture, moving image, drawing and performance are used in order to socially engage an audience directly. Costume is used to inform fictional characters that address idiosyncrasies in consumer culture with a slight sense of anarchy. Using the grotesque to potentially parody cultural ideas of success. Challenging expectations of identity within popular culture through absurd humour.

Campbell is also the founder of Words in Transit.
